J’avais besoin d’une carte pour l’échange d’Août dans le groupe FB de AAA CAS Card dont le thème est Fleur/Fleurs, alors j’ai utilisé le sketch de Freshly Made Sketches et le thème de The Flower Challenge pour faire cette carte…

Hello !

I needed a card for the August CAS Card exchange on the FB group of AAA CAS Card, so I used the sketch of Freshly Made Sketches and the theme of The Flower Challenge to make this card…

Or il se trouve que tout comme Therese, l’invité créative de The Flower Challenge, ma fleur favorite est l’hortensia, et le bleu bien sûr ! Ceux que l’on voit partout en Bretagne !

Now I’m just like Therese, the guest designer of The Flower Challenge, my favorite flower is the hydrangea, and the blue one of course ! Those we see everywhere in Brittany !

J’ai utilisé un set de tampons que j’avais gagné l’année dernière chez 4 en Scrap et j’ai mis dessus une couche de Distress ink bleu et j’ai vaporisé de l’eau, puis j’ai tamponné sur du papier aquarelle. J’ai recommencé avec de l’encre violine et j’ai obtenu ce joli mélange de fond pour mes fleurs d’hortensia. Une fois sec, j’ai pris le deuxième tampon et avec l’encre violine j’ai tamponné le détail des fleurs.

I used a set of stamps that I won last year over at 4 en Scrap and I used blue Distress ink on which I sprayed water and I stamped over Watercolour paper. I did the same with light purple ink and I obtained the lovely blended background for my hydrangea flowers. Once dry, I took the second layer stamp and with light purple ink and stamped the outlines of the flowers.

J’ai fait la même chose avec les feuilles et j’ai découpé le tout à la main.

I did the same with the leaves and I fussy cut everything.

Sur une carte bleu/violine, j’ai tamponné la bordure de pierre avec l’encre Distress violine. Puis j’ai découpé le “treillis” blanc avec une matrice dans du papier blanc imitation bois et je l’ai collé sur la double carte.

On a bleu/lilac card, I stamped the stones border with soft purple Distress ink. Then I die cut the fancy lattice in a white imitation wood paper and I adhered it on the card.

Pour finir, j’ai tamponné le sentiment sur le même papier blanc dont j’ai découpé un bord avec des ciseaux crantés et je l’ai collé sous le treillis. Puis j’ai collé les feuilles et la fleur d’hortensia avec des Glue Dots.

To finish, I stamped the sentiment on the same white paper on which I cut a border with notched scissors and I glued it under the lattice. Then I adhered the leaves and the flower of the hydrangea with Glue Dots.
