Carte/Card

Funky Fossil Designs – Brushos Butterfly Kisses

Bonjour !

Hello !

Some days ago I showed you a card done with the paper towel technique presented in the CAS Mix Up challenge, and I told you that I preferred used one of the three layers of the paper towel than the transferred version on Mix Media paper. For a friend who soon celebrates her birthday and who loves butterflies, I finally made this card with the transferred version…

Looking better the background obtained with this technique, I thought it would make a nice support for this majestic butterfly that I stamped and I silver heat embossed.

Then I diluted with a bit of water the three Brushos that I used to make the background technique and with a paint brush I watercolored the butterfly.

On another white paper slightly bigger than the one of the butterfly, I made three stripes with the three colours and I let it dry.

Once dry, I adhered the first panel on the double white card then I foam mounted the panel with the image on top.

To finish I stamped the sentiment and I silver heat embossed it.

And Voilà for today ! Thanks for your visit and all the lovely comments that you write. It’s always a pleasure to hear from you. See you very soon…

  11. That looks great !! And the butterfly actually looks very noble. And if you had not described it, I would not have noticed that you have dyed the rear paper strips. If you look closely, you can see it well.
