Muse ChristmasVisions – Joyeux Noël with Happy reindeer and little Santa

Bonsoir !

Good evening !

Going through the different challenges today, I could not help but make a card to play along at Muse ChristmasVisions ! As soon as I saw Cornelia‘s card, I knew what I was going to do : CASE her !

Admit it is a funny card with this Santa Claus dancing the jig and this adorable little reindeer !

Et voici ma carte…/ And here is my card…

I really enjoyed making this card and reversing the figurines: the big Santa and the little reindeer on Cornelia‘s card became a great reindeer and a little Santa on mine! I also swapped the Christmas tree for a gift and the sentiment is even translated!

It’s also a good way to take out forgotten stamps and use them differently!

In a green paper I die cut the sentiment and I adhered it onto the double white card. Santa, the reindeer and the gift are stamped in black and heat embossed, then I coloured them with Promarkers and Distress ink (for the gift).

I even put the little touch of yellow glitter, present on Cornelia’s star, on the ribbon of the gift !

Happy and honoured to be one of the Muse Christmas Visions Stars !

In fact everything comes from the sentiment ! As I had it in French I thought it would be fun to make a very similar card with it !

  1. Oh how I love both yours and Cornelia’s cards and I actually have the “Merry Christmas” die that Cornelia uses – I really must get it out again! I love how you took all the elements of Cornelia’s card but as always, you make something your own – you never do a straight CASE – there is always some “Izzy” in there! And even though the sentiment is large, it doesn’t detract from all the other elements – it is the perfect backdrop! heading off to see what I can make now – see how much you inspire? Lisa x

  2. That card is just so much FUN!!!! Like how you tucked the little Santa behind the letter and that you actually have the French version of the same die! Looks so much more elegant in French…. Thanks so much for playing along with us at MCV, Isabelle!

  3. Hahahahaha … brilliant, Isabelle! Such a clever and fun take on Cornelia’s card … love that the sentiment is en francais … and I laughed out loud at that quirky, celebrating renne! Bon weekend! Hugs & Bises, Anita 🙂
