Time Out #94 – Je pense à toi/Thinking of you

Bonjour !

Hello !

Today I share with you a card that the wonderful picture of the last Time Out challenge inspired me ! I found it so beautiful that I wanted to play too ! Of course, the wonderful DT’s cards also inspired me especially those of my dear friend Anita from My Papercraft World and of Stephanie from My – Ink well with their shaker cards ! I urge you to visit their blogs where you will find sublime CAS cards but also a lot of inspiration!

Voici la photo d’inspiration / Here is the inspiration picture

Et voici ma carte…/ And here is my card…

I was immediately attracted by this beautiful contrast between the white colour and this bright orange! And I loved the interpretation of the vase by these two talented designers with the transparent window for a shaker card!

I had in my stash a tissue paper already inked with orange tones, I then used it for the background but I added some golden splashes over it. I adhered this background on a double white card.

I die cut a window in a white cardstock and I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment. I stuck a piece of acetate on the back side.

I adhered some foam adhesive tape over the card base to mark out where to put the sequins and the gold glitter. I glued some sequins to always have some in view when the card is standing up !

I glued the top part with the window on top to enclose the sequins of the shaker card. Then I pasted on the top of the window the various details previously die cut and colored with Distress ink.

In this picture we see better the few splashes of gold paint as well as the small round golden glitter !

And voilà ! Personally I never thought of associating orange with a marine theme but I find the result very beautiful and warm!

Grosses bises, Anita 🙂
