Carte/Card

New baby girl card

Bonjour !

Hello !

The weekend is almost here and I hope you are well ! My sister asked me for a card for a new birth in her husband’s family. And chance does things right, I had just seen the photo of inspiration of the last challenge #230 of Addicted to Stamp and More.

Voici ma carte. Here is my card.

Je me suis inspirée :

I get inspired by :

  • the colours (jade green, black and white)
  • the frame on the wall
  • the cloud mobile that hangs from the ceiling
  • the teddy bear in the bed
  • and the fabric curtains (the adhesive washi tape is in cotton)

On a double white card I embossed part of the frame with a die. I made the clouds with a stencil and chalk ink. I adhered the adhesive ribbon in order to delimitate the frame that is not complete. On another white paper, I stamped the image with black Versafine ink and I heat embossed with clear powder. Then I coloured this adorable girly bear with watercolour pencils and I fussy cut around.

To finish the image is foam mounted. This girly teddy bear makes me think of the children when they are standing in their cribs! Then I stamped, heat embossed the sentiment and I added 3 sequins ! And Voilà ! Isn’t she adorable this little teddy bear ?

  1. All the aspects of this beautiful card are gorgeous, and you took all those inspiring details and completely made it your own in this lovely lovely card! I love embossed frames and you made it look just like a window frame with the soft clouds outside in the sky. You really make some beautiful cards Izzy, I always enjoy seeing what you come up with. And that little bear is so soft and cute too. Thank you so much for sharing your ideas with us, look forward to your next post :), Lisa xx

Bises, Anita 🙂
