It’s already mid-October and it’s a new challenge that starts at Papercraft Challenges.

Comme d’habitude vous avez 4 semaines pour participer à ce défi et peut être que vous serez l’heureux gagnant de la surprise.

Voici ma carte / Here is my card

Update: Happy and honoured to be one of the rockers at Watercooler Wednesday Challenge.

Un thème parfait pour moi puisqu’il me permet d’utiliser ce tampon que j’ai depuis longtemps mais avec lequel je n’avais pas encore joué !

A perfect theme for me since it enables me to use this stamp that I have for a long time but with which I didn’t play yet.

J’ai tout d’abord fait une bordure avec une matrice sur un rectangle de papier blanc. J’ai tamponné l’image ainsi que sur un post-it pour en faire un masque.

I first made a border with a die on a rectangle of white card stock. I stamped the image as well as on a post-it note to make a mask.

J’ai découpé le masque à la main puis je l’ai collé sur l’image afin de faire le fond très léger avec des encres Distress. Puis je retirais le masque et j’ai coloré l’image avec des crayons de couleur. Pour les couleurs, je me suis inspirée des couleurs du défi de The Color Throwdown actuellement en cours.

I fussy cut the mask and I put it on the image in order to softly blend Distress inks to make the background. Then I took it off and I coloured the image with colour pencils. For the colours I get inspired by the current challenge over at The Color Throwdown.

Pour finir, j’ai tamponné le sentiment et j’ai collé cette image sur une double carte blanche.

To finish, I stamped the sentiment and I flat adhered this image on a double white card.
