Bonjour !
Hello !
It has been a long time, but today it is a combination of challenges that inspired me this card, in terms of colours, theme, but also technique and recommendations.
One of the challenges is that of CAS Mix Up which asks us to use stencil made from die cuts. So I first started by making my stencils in a piece of mylar, cutting out the hearts that I would use to make the background of this card.
Voici ma carte / Here is my card
Update: Happy and honoured to be one of the winners over at CAS Colours and Sketches.
On a double white card, I placed the heart stencil and with a brush I put a very soft layer of pink Distress ink.
Then I used the stencil with the stripe of small hearts and with a mini applicator, I put the same ink in the different hearts that I aleatory placed.
On a piece of white Bristol, I stamped the bowl with Versamark ink and I embossed with silver powder. Then I masked it and I stamped the bunch of hearts with red ink. I masked the hearts and I stamped the spoon the same way than the bowl.
I coloured the bowl with a Zig brush pen and I made an ombré with a brush and water. I fussy cut the bowl and I adhered it on the card with a Glue dot.
To finish I stamped the sentiment with Versafine black ink.
A perfect card not only for Valentine’s Day but also for someone you love.

This is a lovely and perfect CAS-card. And I had to smile, because on my card, which I am showing today, I also made the background with two heart stencils, but did not make them out of die-cut stencils. Gundi x
