Memory Box – Rainbow watercolored butterflies

Bonjour !

Hello !

I hope you enjoyed your weekend ! Here it was delicious : sun with a very pleasant temperature which allowed us to spend most of our time in the garden to replant very fragrant rose trees (hum…I love !), beans, courgettes and today we are going to eat our first strawberries ! I also made my first jams of the year with strawberries I bought on the market. And I even had time to make a card to enter several ongoing challenges !

La voici ! Here it is !

Update

Happy and honoured to be the winner at STAMPlorations May CAS Card challenge

This beautiful weather makes me want colours and what better than those of the rainbow !

On my working mat, I put some yellow, red, blue and purple inks, then with a brush and water I drew lines on a square watercolour paper. These lines overlapping give the colours of the rainbow.

Once dry, I die cut a butterflies border in the middle of the square panel. On a white square cardstock, I also die cut a strip of butterflies on the left border, then with notched scissors I cut the right edge. I stamped and heat embossed in black the sentiment.

I inlaid the white butterflies in die cuts of the watercolour background so that once covered with the white panel it is flat. Then I adhered the set over a double white card. To finish I glued small watercoloured flying butterflies !
