Carte/Card

Carte naissance / New born card

Bonjour !

Hello !

This second post of the day will be much faster and lighter than the previous one, I promise ! My sister asked me for her a card for her niece who just had a baby girl. Seeing the first CAS Colours and Sketches Challenge of 2018, inspiration is born !

Voici ma carte / Here is my card :

I immediately thought of this adorable little stamp from Craft sensations (no name, no reference) for this Sketch. So I stamped and heat embossed it. Then I heat embossed the straight line that serves as a support to sit.

I then stamped the sentiment that I personalized by writing the name of the little girl.

This step was the most delicate one since I stamped and heat embossed each letter of the name one after the other. I wanted to make sure everything was successful before adding colour !

After masking the image and above the line, I stamped and white heat embossed the background with hearts. Then I used the “Emboss resist” technique to blend the Distress ink.

I then coloured the little kitty with Promarkers and a colour pencil, and the rose with Distress ink and a fine marker.

To finish I foam mounted the image on a double white card. And Voilà !
