Hello !

I’m sure you all feel like me ! This week at Less is More we offer a nice theme and I’m sure we’ll have all the nice interpretations in our gallery …

1/ Happy Bird-day
I bought this set of stamps at the Happy Stampers Festival in October in anticipation of this challenge and I made this card some time ago for the birthday of my dear teamie Susan’s. I was inspired by a card I saw on the Pinterest board of the talented Ardyth (see here).
On a white cardstock I stamped and heat embossed the wonky stripes and I coloured them with markers. On another cardstock, I stamped and heat embossed the hen, I coloured it with the same colours and I fussy cut it.
I die cut a stitched wave shape on a white cardstock and I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment over it. Then I foam mounted the bird.
On the white double card I flat adhered the stripes and I foam mounted over the wavy shape with the sentiment and the bird.
So honoured and happy to be one of the Honourable Addict at Addicted to Stamp and More !
Stamp: Woodware “’Dancing chicken”, Uniko “Wonky Stripes” – Inks: Versafine “Black Onyx” – Makers: Fabrico “Poppy red, spring green, Lemon yellow” – Die: SSS “Stitched slopes & hills”.

2/ Merry Christmas
These flamingos are not only there to wish a merry Christmas to one of my Uniko teammates but also to wish her a very Happy Birthday! Happy Birthday Carol! (I hope the card took less time to arrive than a certain parcel!)
On a white cardstock I die cut a circle, then I stamped and I heat embossed the sentiment.
On a white double card I stamped and I heat embossed the flamingos and I watercoloured them with Fabrico markers and a Distress ink mixed with a little bit of water.
I masked the top part of the image to make the small snowy hillock with Distress ink and some Wink of Stella. On the bonnet turn-up and on the ornament I put some Stickles glitter.
I foam mounted the part with the sentiment on the double card and to finish I glued some sparkling stars to make the card even more festive !
Stamp: Newton’s Nook “’Festive flamingos”, Uniko “Festive Sentiments” – Inks: Versafine “Onyx Black”, Distress “Picked Raspberry, Tumble Glass” – Makers: Fabrico “#134, 106, 115, 110. 167” – Die: SSS “Stitched circles” – Embellishments: Stickles “Icicle, Lime green”, Little things from Lucy’s card “Candy floss” sequins.

3/ Merry Christmas
I didn’t think to make a third card, for lack of time, but while shopping for Christmas I found a pack of pretty feathers with a silver tip and I couldn’t resist !
I can not say that this card took me a lot of time ! I cut a square a little bit smaller than the card base, I marked the edges with a die border then I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment.
I cut a square lightly bigger in an adhesive glittery paper and I adhered it onto my double white card. I stuck the white square on top of it and then with two small dots of glue I adhered the feather.
Stamp: Uniko “Simply said Christmas” – EP: Hero Arts “Silver” – Die: MFT “Basic Stitched lines”

The bird cards are so much fun but last one stole the show for me! The silver tipped feather framed by a little stitching and a sparkly border makes me swoon!
Your birds are fun and make me smile! Thanks for joining us at MCV!
Wow, wow, wow, Izzy! A trio of fantastic cards. Your first card is whimsical, fun and bright. Love the curvy design. Your flamingoes are adorable and festive. Beautifully coloured. But I have to say your third card is stunning! Simple, yet so striking and impactful. Love the silver and you framed it beautifully. Amazing work as always! Love these. Have a wonderful week. xx
The two birdie cards are just fabulous, Isabelle … the first is bright, funky and fun, the second is whimical, cute and so festive! Oh my, your silvery shimmery feather … it’s simply lovely … perfectly framed with the stitch detail and the sparkly border! Bises et calins, Anita 🙂

Wowzers! That stunning feather has made my jaw drop to the floor! What an elegant and classy card you made with that one Izzy. Your colourful bird-day card is a sheer delight and so full of joy. Then the cool and contemporary flamingos – another terrific make! Love them all. xx
That silver tipped star is beautiful, Izzy, and you’ve shown it off wonderfully with the glitter paper and silver embossing. Thanks for sharing your card with us at Addicted to CAS.
Fun and funky first two cards with a classy and elegant third one x
Wow, great cards from you Izzy (as always!) I especially like the funny birds in your two first cards -images like this always make me smile and what’s better than that! The background stamp in your first card looks amazing, I love your coloring -I actually thought at first that it’s designer paper! I think I have to get these flamingos for next Christmas… They are delightful! And what a great feather you found -a stunning center piece for an elegant CAS card. I love the clean color scheme with only white and silver. Swoon!
