Bonjour !

Hi !

Recently I was commissioned a card to congratulate the happy parents of a new little “princess”. On the other hand, MFT (My Favourite Things) launched a new challenge with the following Sketch.

So my card is based on this Sketch. I first built the double card base with white paper from Clairefontaine (210g). On the front, I adhered a sheet of paper Clairefontaine Force 8 Intensive Yellow with double sided tape. With the embossing folder (sold with my Cuttlebug), I embossed an Intensive Green paper from Clairefontaine Pollen (160g) then I adhered it to the double card.

With the Simon Says Stamp  Die Stitched Squares, I die cut the square into a Doodlebug “Pink limonade plaid” paper. With the Spellbinders Die “Classic Scalloped Circles small”, I die cut my image support and the underneath fuchsia part.

On a white drawing paper, I stamped the image (Artemio ARTHF641F) with Versafine Vintage Sepia ink and I embossed it with Clear powder. With the Fabrico pens (#106, #111, #112, #115, #131, #134 and #167), a brush and a bit of water, I colored the image, taking care to dry with the heat gun between two colors. To better highlight the skirt, the flower and the butterfly, I put some Glossy Accent and I let it dry.

The die cut square is foam mounted onto the card. The image and the fuchsia part are glued with Ranger Multi Medium Matte.

To finish the card I glued on the corners small flowers. Originally these are decorations for nails, but I thought it was so cute that I bought them as embellishment  for cards !

And here’s the result ! A lot of happiness to the happy parents ! Thank you very much for your visit and see you soon !
